By joining the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums you are supporting the restoration, preservation and conservation of a divine legacy of what is possibly the greatest collection of sacred art in the entire world.  Michigan Patrons support the Vatican Museums through their annual membership, private donations, and by participating in Chapter-sponsored fundraising events held throughout the year.

There are several levels of membership available, and each offers exclusive benefits.

Michigan Chapter Levels include:

  • Standard Level Patrons – Family

Join or Renew Membership in the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums

The Michigan Chapter of the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums invite you to take your place in history.  Join us in protecting the priceless cultural wonders of these most important museums so that they may inspire future generations.  Benefits of being a Patron are many and nearly priceless and can be found in the section below, Patron Membership Levels and Benefits.  There are two ways to become a patron:

By Mail....

  1. Select the Patron Membership Form, print it out, and fill it in
  2. Make check payable to Michigan Chapter PAVM
  3. Mail the completed form and check to the Michigan Chapter PAVM Office listed on the form.

On Line....

To join or renew your Michigan Chapter Patron membership, click on the button that is adjacent to your desired membership level.  (See the table below for description of levels.)  Follow the prompts that appear on the page to register and submit payment.

Patron Membership Levels and Benefits

Clergy Patron

Members of the clergy and religious are welcome to join MI-PAVM at a substantially reduced rate and still enjoy all the benefits offered to the Standard Level Patron.

Clergy Membership: $250 per year

Same as Standard Level.  See below.

Junior Patron

Junior Patron membership is offered for persons between the ages of 18 and 35.  Junior Patrons receive the same benefits as the Standard Level Patrons.

Juinor Membership (under 35): $250 per year

Associate Patron

Associate membership is designed for individuals who want to support the work of PAVM but are not interested in experiencing a private visit and tour.

Associate Patron annual dues: $300 per person

  • A tax deductible donation in the amount of the annual dues
  • Subscription to The Vatican Museums Report from the International Director
  • Subscription to PAVM eNewsletter
  • Subscription to Michigan Chapter and International newsletters
  • Notices and mailings for upcoming events
  • Invitations to participate in all local Chapter events, e.g., annual holiday dinner, specialty dinners, receptions, lectures, trips for adventure and pilgrimage in the US
  • Invitation to participate in events planned by the International Patrons, including multi-day Vatican cultural events, trips, cruises, and pilgrimages outside the US
  • Note: You may upgrade membership level at anytime during the year by paying the difference in dues.

Standard Level Patron

Standard Patron level of membership is perfect for people who enthusiastically support the PAVM and enjoy visiting Rome and the Vatican Museums.

Standard Patron annual dues:

  • $600 Individual
  • $1200 Family*

*The Patron Family includes the immediate household members (dependent children under the age of 25).

All the above benefits, PLUS:

  • Special discounted pricing for the PAVM Insider’s Course

When in Rome/Vatican: *

  • Welcome visit to the Office of the Patrons in Vatican City
  • Complementary private tour of the Vatican Museums with a Vatican Museum tour guide
  • No waiting in line for entrance into the Museums
  • Complimentary and unlimited entrance into the Vatican Museums
  • Invitation to view areas of the Museums closed to the public (with your private guide)
  • Viewing of a restoration in progress at the Restorations Laboratories
  • Special access to St. Peter’s Basilica

  • PAVM discount at all Vatican Museum gift shops
