August 2, 2025: Vatican Museums delegation presents rest0red St. Augustine painting to Pope Leo XIV
The Vatican News reports that a delegation from the Vatican Museums, including Monsignor Terence Hogan, Coordinator of the Office for Relations with the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums, presented the Holy Father with a restored 18th century painting of St Augustine. Director of the Vatican Museums Chosen to Deliver the 2021 Keeley Vatican Lecture
Dr. Barbara Jatta, Director of the Vatican Museums, was chosen to deliver Notre Dame University’s 2021 Keeley Vatican Lecture on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Dr. Jatta’s lecture, “The Vatican Museums: Future Perspectives,” is available to watch online. CLICK HERE for details and further instruction.
The PAVM Insiders Course
The PAVM Insiders Course was developed for Patrons and friends of the Vatican Museums during times when visits to public places was discouraged due to public health concerns. Below are major features of the program. If you have interest in seeing this program renewed and expanded contact us.

The Director of the Vatican Museums, Dr. Barbara Jatta, and the world-class curators and restorers of the Vatican Museums have created a novel Insiders Course to keep you linked to the museums even when you are unable to visit in person.
...What?....
PAVM Insiders Course is a four-semester course presented in a series of monthly videos, lectures, and virtual coffee hours. Major themes explored by semester include:
- The origins and mission of the Vatican Museums
- The Papal apartments: Popes, Patrons, and Prophets
- The age of collectionism and the Grand Tour
- Pinacoteca to modern: a tour in the history of faith and beauty

You experience it from the comfort of your home or office.
...When?....
The first semester begins in October 2020 and runs through January 2021. Semester two ends in May 2021. Semesters three and four follow and run through June 2022..
